Sindh Cabinet meeting: Applied for registration, protocol number plates banned

KARACHI (92 News) – A meeting of Sindh Cabinet headed by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah was held on Wednesday. The meeting decided to ban ‘applied for registration’ and ‘protocol’ number plates. It also decided to forbid ‘CM number plate’. The cabinet further decided to ban Sheesha, Gutka and Mainpuri. Moreover, prohibition of smoking at public places will also be enforced. Sindh IG AD Khawaja also participated in the meeting and briefed about the security situation. The Sindh IG said that Sindh Police were coordinating with Rangers for safety and security of the province. The Sindh police are active and additional security will be provided during Muharram, he said. He also briefed the meeting about operations in various areas of the city.
