KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has condemned the Shikarpur SSP’s report against provincial ministers. Speaking on the floor of the Sindh Assembly on Thursday, he criticized the senior police officers, including the IGP. “I tried my best to work with the IGP Kaleem Imam, but he is incapable. There are some black sheep in the police department,” he said. Syed Murad Ali Shah said that he had ordered an inquiry, but the IGP stopped the inquiry report. “The officer following the policy of the provincial government will work in Sindh,” he said. He said that he went through the secret report of Dr Rizwan on the social media, which carried the wrong spelling of Dr Rizwan. “I wonder how such people pass the examination. This incompetent officer prepared a fake report against a respectable MPA. Why was Imtiaz Sheikh not arrested if he is criminal,” he said. The Sindh CM said that he had told the PM that the IGP’s incompetence is creating problems. “The people of Sindh have given us the mandate to prepare our team,” he said. He said that he had authorized the police to work independently. “I have not seen such a weak officer like the IGP. According to the law, he cannot go to the media,” he said. Murad Shah said that he had not appointed a single officer without the consent of the IGP.
