Sindh CM expresses regret over August 22 incident

KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has on Thursday said that Rs 10 billion have been allocated for Karachi. Addressing a ceremony at a local hotel in Karachi on Thursday, he said that August 22 incident was regrettable and the Karachi’s mayoral would not have held on August 24 if the incident had occurred somewhere else. Murad Ali Shah said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had asked him to cancel the polls but he didn’t cancel the polls. He said that he didn’t like that the elected mayor is jail, adding that criminal cases have been made against him but he faced the courts.
