Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah, Ali Zaidi exchange hot words during a meeting
KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi exchanged hot words during a meeting of the Karachi Committee.
The CM, in a letter, has complained to Prime Minister Imran Khan about the 'misbehaviour' of Ali Zaidi. He said that Ali Zaidi had tried to hold the meeting hostage.
However, Federal Ministers Asad Umar and Aminul Haq who were present in the meeting remained silent over the issue.
On the other hand, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs has made the confidential letter of Ali Zaidi public, rejecting the allegations of the CM. He also wrote a letter to the prime minister, saying the CM letter shows his negative attitude.
Meanwhile, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani has demanded removal of Ali Zaidi from the Karachi Committee and the federal cabinet.
He said that Ali Zaidi had shown irresponsible behaviour. "Such type of ministers sabotage cooperation between the Centre and Sindh," he added.
He demanded that Prime Minister Imran Khan should take notice of the matter.
