KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has announced to launch an indiscriminate anti-encroachments operation. Talking to the media on Friday, he said that they would expose the names of those behind the encroachments. "The media will not be ready to publish the reports if I resolved to publish the reports," he added. CM Murad Ali Shah said that encroachments have been made around the drains of the city. "We will conduct a detailed study of Karachi. The current rain spell has broken the 100-year-old record," he added. The chief minister said that they will take action against those involved in encroachments and China-cutting. "Karachi's biggest problem is too much authorities. A lot of people are responsible for the conditions of Karachi. The Sindh government is responsible for a small portion," he added. He said that there would be no problem if all authorities remain within their authorities and follow the master plan. Murad Shah said that they along with the federal government would try to compensate for the financial losses of the people. "Now we will not tolerate encroachments on the drains. Restaurants along the drains throw garbage into drains," he added.
