Sindh CM orders to conduct inquiry into doctor’s death due to non-availability of ventilator

KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah has ordered to conduct inquiry into former Radiologist Dr Furqan’s death due to non-availability of ventilators. The death of doctor has raised many questions on the efficiency of Sindh Health Department. The Sindh chief minister took the notice of matter and ordered to conduct inquiry for non-availability of ventilators. He has also directed to constitute three members committee which will present the report within 24 hour. It is pertinent to mention here that doctor died of coronavirus while waiting for a ventilator. Former Radiologist Dr Furqan had quarantined himself in his house after contracting coronavirus. PMA secretary general Dr Qaisar Sajjad said that Dr Furqan’s condition deteriorated, but he could not provided with medical treatment in government hospitals on time. He said that Dr Furqan had died due to unavailability of ventilators. On the other hand, the provincial Information Minister Nasir Hussain Shah said that the allegations regarding to distribute ration are conspiracy against Sindh. He said that the federal government cannot able to digest the appreciation of Sindh government. The Agriculture Department of Sindh also declared the federal government as non-serious.
