Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah agrees to hold judicial inquiry into firing on PIA employees

KARACHI (92 News) – On the demand of PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has agreed to hold a judicial inquiry into firing on PIA employees.

Talking to a delegation of the PIA Joint Action Committee on Tuesday, he said that they (protesters) should tell their demands and he would talk to the prime minister who was a very generous person.

Meanwhile, the chief minister has announced Rs two million each for the two employees killed in the violent protest.

He said that Rs 200,000 would be given to each injured person.

The delegation has expressed willingness to hold dialogues with National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq and Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique.
