KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani tested positive for coronavirus on Monday. Moreover, tests were also conducted on the people, including politicians, officers and staffers, who continued to meet him during the last few days. However, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Information Minister Nasir Shah and Murtaza Wahab tested negative for coronavirus. Governor Imran Ismail self-isolated him for 24 hours. According to the data made available with the Health Department on Monday, the number of coronavirus cases has jumped to 876 with 116 new cases. So far six patients have recovered. According to the break-up, the number of patients has risen to 394 with 61 fresh cases in Sindh. In Punjab, the coronavirus cases have increased to 246 with 21 new cases. Likewise, there are 110 coronavirus patients in Balochistan and six more cases were reported. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the number of patients stands at 38 with seven more reported cases. In Islamabad, there are 15 cases and four new cases were reported. However, the number of COVID-19 patients in AJK is one.
