KARACHI (92 News) - Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, in an audio leak during a meeting of the Rabita Committee, admitted that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) did not get votes in the general elections.

In the audio, he is heard complaining about not getting ministries in exchange for an alliance with the PML-N. "The PML-N is giving only one ministry. It is also bringing its minister and Khalid Maqbool knows his name," Tessori is heard in the audio.

He said that the MQM had received seven seats when they were in the PTI government and it was their genuine vote. "We could not get the votes in these elections. Our voters were angry for joining the PDM. We will have to face a difficult situation if we joined the government," he added.

Kamran Tessori said that the PPP was pressurizing the PML-N and the Rabita Committee was to decide to what extent they succumb to the pressure. "However, we will not work on their dictation," he added.
