KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Governor Imran Ismail on Tuesday met with Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) head Pir Sabghatullah Rashdi at Kingri House. During the meeting, the Sindh governor said that the allied parties are with the federal government, adding that the government will fulfill all the expectations of the general public. On the occasion, the Pir Pagara said that they had innumerable complaints, not one, against the government. In an attempt to reconcile with the estranged allies, PM Imran Khan will meet Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) chief Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on Wednesday. On the other hand, the MQM-P has denied their tomorrow’s meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Aminul Haq, spokesman for the MQM-P, said that they had neither decided on the meeting nor their delegation was going to meet the prime minister in Islamabad. He said that the strategy will be devised in consultation with the Rabita Committee if they received any invitation. Meanwhile, Governor Imran Ismail will meet Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) chief Pir Pagara at Kingri House today. Pir Pagara will inform the Sindh governor about his reservations. On Monday, PM Imran Khan had contacted Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and summoned him to Islamabad. The prime minister approached the MQM-P leader and assured the disgruntled coalition partner that its valid demands will be fulfilled. During the conversation, Khalid Maqbool raised his reservations in front of the prime minister who assured that the party’s issues will be addressed.
