KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh government has accused the federal government and the Indus River System Authority (IRSA) of usurping its right over the water issue.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Sindh Irrigation Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal said that they were demanding the water share of Sindh. "The incompetent government of the PTI will never accept the water issue," he added.

He said that wrong statistics were being told to the masses. "Sindh province is facing a shortage of 36 percent," he added.

He alleged that water was being stolen between Kotri and Guddu.

The minister said that the PPP had raised the issue in the Senate and CCI.
