Sindh govt bans congregations for prayers in mosques till April 5

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh government has banned the congregations for prayers in mosques from March 27 to April 5. Citizens will not be able to visit mosques for prayers. Only the mosque staff will offer the prayers. Talking to the media, Sindh Government Spokesman Murtza Wahab said that the decisions had been taken in consultations with Ulema. He asked the people to offer their prayers at homes. “However, mosques will remain open and the call to prayer will be recited,” he said.
