Sindh govt decides closure of shops in Sindh by 7pm, marriage halls by 10pm

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh government has on Friday decided to shut down shops and marriage halls at 7pm, 10pm respectively. This was decided in a meeting of the Sindh Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah. The meeting decided to enforce the system from November 1 and cabinet ministers have been given task to take market associations into confidence in this regard. Earlier, Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah reiterated his resolve to ensure an early closure of markets and shops in Karachi. The chief minister said that he would ensure that shops and businesses are opened at 9am and closed at 7pm in the evening. The CM said that the law permitting only one dish at marriages and functions would also be effectively implemented across the province.
