Sindh govt decides not to include Tiger Force in distribution of ration, relief

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh government has decided that Prime Minister’s Corona Tiger Force will not be included in the distribution of ration and relief campaign. Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Shaikh said that the distribution of ration bags has nothing to do with politics. “Tiger force is based on political workers and distribution of ration bags in the province is being carried out in a transparent and fair manner,” he said. The minister said the distribution of ration bags in the province is being carried in a transparent and fair manner. He further said that all committees, NGOs and lady health workers are part of the relief operation. Imtiaz Shaikh claimed that they do not need workers of any party as they already have so many workers. “Non-government organizations (NGOs), lady health workers and other committees formed by the provincial government are distributing ration among needy families in the province and will continue performing their duties,” he added. It is pertinent here to mention that Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Youth Affairs Usman Dar said that Corona Relief Tiger Force will be entrusted with duties next week.
