AD Khawaja services surrendered to federal govt, Abdul Majeed Dasti made acting IGP

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh government has decided to surrender the services of Sindh IGP Allah Dino Khawaja to the federal government and has recommended three names in his place.

In this regard, a letter was sent to the federal government on Friday.

The three names recommended in the letter are Additional IG Research Development Sardar Abdul Majeed Dasti, Chairman Anti-Corruption Ghulam Qadir Thebo and Additional IG Traffic Khadim Hussain Bhatti. However, Ghulam Qadir Thebo is being considered a favorite candidate.

Meanwhile, the Sindh government has made Sardar Abdul Majeed Dasti the acting IGP. 

On the other hand, Provincial Minister Nisar Khoro said that the Sindh government had appointed AD Khawaja as IGP.

“Some matters are sub judice and we have given some names in advance to the federal government,” he said.
