Sindh govt decides to extend coronavirus restrictions for two weeks

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh government has decided to extend the coronavirus restrictions for two weeks across the province.

The decision was made during a meeting of the Sindh Coronavirus Taskforce on Saturday. All tourist resorts, Sea View, recreational parks and marriage halls will remain closed. Shops will be closed at 6pm instead of 8pm.

The inter-city bus service will operate with 50 percent passengers. However, the decision to reopen educational institutions will be decided keeping in view the coronavirus situation.

Murtaza Wahab said that SOPs would be implemented strictly during the examinations.

On the other hand, the coronavirus cases have risen to 14 percent in Karachi and 11 percent in Hyderabad. Dr Asim and Anees Qaimkhawani have quarantined after contracting coronavirus.
