Sindh govt demands to include Sh Rasheed in probe of Maulana Adil's murder

KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Education and Labor Minister Saeed Ghani on Monday has demanded to include Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed in investigation of Maulana Adil Khan’s murder.

While addressing a press conference in Karachi, the provincial minister said that Sheikh Rasheed had said that terror attacks could occur in the protest of opposition parties against the incumbent government.

"This terror incident happened in Karachi after some hours of Sheikh Rasheed's announcement," the minister maintained. He also asked that how the railways minister knows about terrorism incident in the opposition rallies.

"If Sheikh Rasheed knows what immediate steps the government took regarding this issue. The Sindh government has no authority to give security personnel to anyone," Saeed Ghani said, also demanding that the authority of providing security to prominent personalities should be given to provincial governments.

On the other hand, ullema Committee in Karachi has threatened to hold strike and protest if security personnel fail to arrest the murderers of religious scholar Maulana Adil Khan in 48 hours.
