KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh government has extended lockdown for one month more as the partial restrictions on public movements, business activities and closure of educational institutions will be continued till August 15. According to the new notification released by the Home Department, the continuation of lockdown restrictions imposed on July 1 for one more month. The latest development came after the Sindh government made separate announcements for permission to establish cattle markets across the province ahead of Eidul Azha. The decision was taken in the meeting chaired by Murad Ali Shah that cattle markets across the province would be allowed to set up with strict standard operating procedures (SOPs). According to proposed SOPs, cattle markets should be established 2-5 kilometers outside city limits. The government has restricted the elderly and children from visiting. The SIndh chief minister presides over a meeting of health, local government departments here at CM House, Karachi. The management of cattle markets will be bound to implement the standard operating procedures (SOPs). CM Murad has appealed to people to avoid visiting cattle markets unnecessarily. He said that mobile teams will be deployed at cattle markets which will conduct coronavirus tests of buyers and traders visiting the markets for the purchase of sacrificial animals.
