Sindh govt plea on mayor, deputy mayor election rejected, stay order issued
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court has on Wednesday issued a stay order on the election of mayor and deputy mayor of the local government system in Sindh including Karachi.
A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Gulzar Ahmad heard a case regarding secret balloting of for Karachi’s Mayor and Deputy Mayor across Sindh including Karachi.
The three-member bench rejected the petition of Sindh government against Sindh High Court decision challenged by the lawyer Farooq H Naik.
