KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh government has postponed the decision to open the middle schools from September 21. Addressing a press conference, Education Minister Saeed Ghani said that the government had witnessed several lapses in educational institutions. "We cannot compromise on the health of children. Middle classes can be started from September 28 if the situation improved," he added. He said that a few private schools made better arrangements; however, implementation of SOPs in government colleges was not satisfactory. "Situation is not better in government schools. Masks were not being used in some renowned private schools," he added. The minister feared the situation could be worst if 100 percent students come to schools. "The Sindh government is conducting free coronavirus tests in all private and public schools," he said.
