Sindh Home Minister orders probe into controversial advertisements

KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Sial has on Wednesday ordered an inquiry into controversial advertisements in Tuesday’s local newspapers apparently by police accusing Rangers officials of allegedly kidnapping five missing citizens. Karachi police gave advertisements of five citizens allegedly kidnapped by the Rangers and the advertisements appeared in various newspapers urging masses to inform police regarding whereabouts of missing people’s. The home minister took notice of the advertisements and directed the IG Sindh to probe into the accusations. The IG Sindh suspended the DSP Orangi Town over controversial advertisements and constituted an investigation team.
