Sindh IG Ghulam Haider exempts women from wearing helmet

KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Inspector General of Police Ghulam Haider Jamali has withdrawn the orders forcing women to wear helmet on Tuesday. Women had rejected the orders. The IG Sindh said that it is impossible for women to wear helmet. On the other hand, DIG Traffic Ameer Sheikh has gone on leave. Meanwhile, 2,200 traffic police personnel in the 70 sections of the city issued more than 1,500 challans on the first day after the expiry of the deadline.
