Sindh, KP and Balochistan yet to decide caretaker CMs

KARACHI (92 News) – After agreement over the names of the caretaker prime minister and the chief minister in Punjab, other three provinces have yet to decide the names of their caretaker chief ministers. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Leader of the Opposition in the Sindh Assembly Khwaja Izharul Hasan will meet today (on Wednesday) to discuss and finalize a consensus candidate for the caretaker chief minister of the province. The matter of the caretaker setup faces deadlock between the government and opposition in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after the government stepped back from the earlier agreement over the name of Manzoor Afridi as the caretaker CM. The opposition leader and chief minister will meet today to hold talks on the appointment of the caretaker chief minister. The opposition and the government in Balochistan have short-listed the two names and one of which will be decided in coming 24 hours.
