Sindh PML-N secretary general Miftah Ismail resigns

KARACHI (92 News) – PML-N leader Miftah Ismail tendered his resignation as secretary general of the party on Tuesday.

According to sources, Miftah Ismail was at odds with the party leadership for not taking action against those involved in hooliganism in Muslim League House at Karsaz.

Last month, workers had resorted to hooliganism allegedly for awarding tickets in Cantonment Board elections after receiving bribe.

PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif had formed a committee for a probe into the hooliganism incident. Miftah Ismail has resigned in protest against inactivation of the investigation team.
