Sindh PTI MPA sumbits resolution seeking extension of Rangers' special powers

KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh MPA Khurram Sher Zaman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday submitted a resolution in the Sindh Assembly seeking extension in Rangers` special powers to maintain peace and stability in Sindh. As per details, the resolution states that Rangers played vital role in maintaining peace in Karachi and every citizen wants Rangers to peace in the city. "Rangers must be given powers to deal with land mafia, target killers, terrorists, corruption and extortionists," it said. Speaking to media after submitting the resolution, Khurram Sher Zaman said extension in Rangers' authority is a must for peace in Karachi. "Any political party who will not support our demand, indicates that it is involved in terrorism and other criminal activities."
