Sindh Rangers, FIA raid KMC’s Land department, seize record

KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Rangers and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) carried out a raid at the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation’s Land department at the Civic Centre late on Friday night. Sources said that the joint team of Sindh Rangers and FIA seized the documents of three plots of Bath Island and Frere Town from the KMC’s Land department and the record of the department was being loaded on a truck by Rangers’ personnel. Sources said that FIA has long been demanding files of one Frere Town plot and two plots of Bath Island but KMC Land department administration did not provide them record. The plots were illegally leased as the total cost of these plots was of worth Rs 15 billion and FIA was investigating into the matter.
