Sindh to observe complete lockdown today from 12pm-3pm

KARACHI (92 News) – A complete lockdown from 12pm to 3pm will be observed across Sindh on Friday (today). According to the Sindh Home Department, public or religious gatherings or congregations and unnecessary movement of the citizens will be strictly banned during the complete lockdown. The department stated that no sort of religious gatherings or congregations would be allowed during the complete lockdown and the movement of citizens was banned as well. However, the government has exempted people involved in an emergency situation. Speaking to the journalist, Sindh Information Minister Nasir Hussain Shah urged the people to cooperate with the government in fight against the pandemic. He asked the people to follow the safety instructions issued by the government to protect themselves from the deadly virus. Earlier in the previous week, the complete lockdown from 12 noon to 3:30pm has been imposed across the Sindh today to prevent people from participating in congregational Friday prayers. The Sindh administrations are taking strong measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus epidemic. Sindh government has announced a complete lockdown from 12:00 noon to 3:00pm to restrict the Friday congregations and asked the people to offer prayer at home.
