Sindh to present Rs 1.4 trillion budget for FY2021-22 today

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh government will present Rs 1.4 trillion budget for fiscal year 2021-22.

Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah will present the budget. An increase of 10-20 percent in salaries of government employees and pensions is likely to be announced during the budget speech.

The government has proposed to merge adhoc allowance, while no new tax will be imposed.

In the budget, an amount of Rs 105 billion has been allocated for police, Rs 172 billion for health and Rs 215 billion for education.
