Singer Sanam Marvi, her husband Hamid Ali officially parted ways

LAHORE (92 News) – Another showbiz couple officially parted ways on Thursday as a family court in Lahore released a decree allowing singer Sanam Marvi to part ways with her husband Hamid Ali. It is pertinent to mention here that Marvi Sanam had filed for khula at the family court on February 8. She accused Ali of domestic abuse. In the petition, the singer stated that she had married Ali in 2009 but after her husband’s attitude changed once they were married. She claimed that Ali started to abuse her in front of her children. “I tolerated abuse from my husband for the sake of my kids,” she said. On the other hand, Hamid Ali has dismisses Marvi’s allegations. He claimed that he never misbehaved or abused his wife. He also remarked that he has been paying his wife’s and their children expenses. Court Judge Sana Afzal gave the decree for khula while Advocate Hamid Maqbool defended Sanam’s case.
