Sirajul Haq calls for 'across-the-board' accountability

LAHORE (92 News) – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq has on Thursday said that they wanted an accountability that does not end at Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif but everyone involved in Panama leaks including former president Asif Zardari and Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf should also be held accountable. Talking to media in Lahore on Thursday, he said that they have launched a corruption free campaign for the last couple of months, adding that not only in the country but struggling to form a system of audit in the political parties. The JI chief further rejected to joining any political party’s movement and said that the Muslim world is in the grip of terrorism for which the entire Muslim countries will have to form a joint strategy.
