Situation arising from flood is a trial, says Sindh CM Murad Shah

KARACHI (92 News) - Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that teh situation arising from the flood is a trial.

Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that the provincial government has not made a mistake deliberately.

"The decision to create crevices are made by the Irrigation Department. It is wrong to say some landlord is making the decision," he maintained.

The Sindh chief minister said that the recent spell is the 7th one of the monsoon.

"Sindh has so far received more than 800 percent rains. We have distributed 425,000 ration bags and 1.5 million mosquito nets among the flood victims. There is need for more tents and tarpaulin," he declared.
