Six alleged terrorists gunned down in Layyah

LAYYAH (92 News) – The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has on Wednesday gunned down at least six alleged terrorists in an encounter in Layyah’s Tehsil Chobara. The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) carried a raid at the hideout of suspected terrorists in Tehsil Chobara. During the raid, the terrorists opened firing at police party, in retaliation, six terrorist were killed on the spot while two others managed to flee taking advantage of the darkness. The spokesman said that the CTD recovered two hand grenades, two automatic rifles, 1 pistol from the hideout of the alleged terrorists. “The killed terrorists belonged to Taliban and Al Qaeda,” the spokesman added. The bodies were shifted to hospital for autopsy.
