10 doctors among 70 test positive for coronavirus in Multan

MULTAN (92 News) – As many as 70 more people, including 10 doctors, tested positive for coronavirus in Multan on Tuesday. After 10 more cases, the number of affected doctors and medical staff in Multan’s Nishtar Hospital has risen to 35. The affected doctors and other people have been shifted to the isolation ward. On the other hand, 54 more people, out of 381, tested positive for coronavirus in Abdali Mosque Quarantine Centre. According to the Health Department officials, the affected people include two Chinese national. They said that reports of 185 people have been received, while the reports of other suspected patients will be received shortly. So far 130 people have tested positive for the COVID-19 in the district. The affected people being shifted to DHQ Hospital. Moreover, Dr Ameer Haider of Arifwala THQ Hospital also tested positive for coronavirus. He and his family have been quarantined in their house. Quetta Additional Deputy Commissioner Saqib Kakar also fell victim to coronavirus. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) has once again demanded that practical steps should be taken in Nishtar Hospital after declaring emergency.
