Six fishermen among 12 Pakistanis released by India

LAHORE (92 News) – India released 12 Pakistanis, including six fishermen, from jails on Thursday.

According to Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, the released Pakistanis include 80-year-old Muhammad Nazir.

The released Pakistanis who had completed their jail terms reached the homeland through Wagah.

"The Foreign Office has played an important role in the release of countrymen. We will continue efforts for the release of Pakistanis imprisoned in India," said the Pakistan High Commissioner.
