Six injured in blast in Karachi's Shirin Jinnah Colony

KARACHI (92 News) – Six people were injured in a blast in Shirin Jinnah Colony on Tuesday.

According to the Bomb Disposal Squad, one kilogram explosive material was used in the blast. Ball bearing and iron items were also used in the blast.

CTD In-charge Raja Khatab said that a bus passing nearby was also affected by the blast.

"The bomb had been planted in a bicycle and the blast was conducted through the safety fuse device. The terrorist(s) are being indentified," he added.

SSP Karachi South Sheraz Nazeer said that the ball bearings were used to cause maximum damage.
