Seven injured in alleged firing by policemen in Mughalpura

LAHORE (92 News) – Seven people were injured in alleged firing by policemen during a wedding ceremony in Mughalpura area of Lahore on Friday night. The injured were shifted to Services Hospital where two of them are in a critical condition. Police official and his accomplices fled from the scene after the incident. Anarkali Circle DSP said that a policeman identified as Irfan had opened fire during the function. On the other hand, the injured people’s family members blamed that the policemen had opened fire to stop the function. Earlier, four women were injured in firing by unknown people in Karim Park. The injured women have been shifted to hospital. Local said that Perveen, wife of a constable, is among the injured. They said that nine bullets hit Perveen Akhtar, while one each bullet hit other women. Her condition is stated to be critical.
