MUZAFFARABAD (92 News) – At least six people were killed when a jeep fell into a ravine near Muzaffarabad on Sunday. According to details garnered, the unfortunate vehicle was on its way from Neelum Valley to Muzaffarbabad when the incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Pungran police station. The incident was happened when the vehicle took a turn and slipped into ravine. The deceased include a woman and children. Upon being informed of the incident, rescue teams reached the spot and began operation to retrieve bodies. The identities of the deceased are yet not known. Two women among four die as jeep falls into ravine in Shangla
Earlier, four people, including two women, were killed when a jeep fell into a ravine in Shangla. Two injured were shifted to Rural Health Centre. On the other hand, three people were killed in a collision between a truck and a van in Gojra. Meanwhile, 16 people were injured and shifted to hospital. The condition of three injured is stated to be critical.
Cable car lift plunges into ravine in Murree, kills 11
Earlier before, eleven people were killed and two others injured when a locally made private chair lift fell down in Murree.

The accident took place on Thursday in Murree, a mountain resort outside the capital, Islamabad where the single chairlift fell into a ravine hundreds of feet deep.

The chairlift was installed by the local people between Charra Pani and Binwarri. Rescue teams reached the site of the incident and .   Apparently the cables of the chairlift were not properly maintained, but a police investigation is underway. The 12 villagers were using the cable car, which can usually carry up to 15, to get to the resort. Murree is one of Pakistan’s most known mountain tourist resorts, popular with both local and foreign tourists. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed grief over loss of precious lives in the local lift incident at Murree on Thursday.
