Six Levies personnel martyred in attack on check post in Ziarat

ZIARAT (92 News) – Six Levies personnel were martyred in an attack on a check post in Lal Khattai area of Ziarat’s tehsil Sanjwani on Tuesday night. According to details, unidentified assailants opened indiscriminate fire on the Levies check-post injuring many personnel who were shifted to nearby hospitals. Six personnel embraced martyrdom in the attack and the condition of some of the injured is stated to be critical. The attackers also took away the weapons of the personnel. After the attack, Levies and FC contingents reached the scene and cordoned off the area. A search operation was also started to look for the perpetrators. Deputy Commissioner Qadir Bakhtakani confirmed that six personnel were martyred in the attack and that the check-post was attacked in the dead of the night.’
