Smart lockdown imposed in six areas of Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Keeping in view increasing cases of coronavirus, the smart lockdown has been imposed in six more areas of Islamabad.

The Islamabad deputy commissioner has issued a notification in this regard.

On the other hand, 24 more people died of coronavirus while 980 new infections were reported during the last 24 hours.

According to the data available with the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the overall deaths have reached 22,642 while the positivity rate remained at 4.17 percent.

The province-wise cases are: Sindh (349,586), KPK (139,710), Punjab (348,725), Islamabad (83,956), Balochistan (28,434), Azad Jammu and Kashmir (21,392) and Gilgit Baltistan (7,044).
