Soldier martyred, five terrorists killed in North Waziristan IBO

RAWALPINDI (92 News) - A soldier was martyred while five terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces in an intelligence based operation (IBO) in Jhallar Algad, North Waziristan District on Monday.

According to a press release issued by the ISPR, weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists. The terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and killing of innocent citizens.

During intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Nasir Khan (age 25 years, resident of South Waziristan District) having fought gallantly, embraced martyrdom.

Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
