Soldier martyred, terrorist killed in exchange of fire in South Waziristan

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – A soldier was martyred while a terrorist killed in an intense exchange of fire in Kanniguram, South Waziristan District on Tuesday nigh.

According to a press release issued by the ISPR, a Pakistan military post observed and engaged move of terrorists in the area.

During an intense exchange of fire, one of the terrorists was killed. Responding to terrorist fire, Naib Subedar Sonay Zai of Darazinda, Dera Ismail Khan (age 42 years), got critically injured and later embraced martyrdom. A search of the area is in progress to eliminate terrorists.
