LAHORE (92 News) - Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that some people are trying to repeat the May 9 tragedy.

Talking to the media after inaugurating Medical Store Depot Warehouse on Monday, he said that the agencies had traced the conversation about the sabotage planning. "A stricter action than the previous one will be given if someone tried to create chaos. However, no one will be stopped from staging a peaceful protest," he added.

The CM said that anyone having objection to the election result should approach the relevant forum. "The country cannot afford any saboteur act. We do not want a division in the nation," he added.

He said that the caretaker government had performed its duty amicably. "The shutdown of the internet or mobile service was the decision of the federal government. Pakistan needs a stable and sustainable government for development and prosperity of the people," he declared.

The chief minister said that an amount of Rs3-4 billion will be saved by constructing a warehouse. "Big warehouses are needed for storing medicines," he added.
