Some people running campaign to prove Nawaz Sharif innocent: Fawad Chaudhary
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister of Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhary has said that some people are running a campaign to prove Nawaz Sharif innocent.
In a tweet on Monday, Fawad Chaudhary said, “Nawaz Sharif should give answer about the Avenfield apartments instead of concocoting foolish stories."

Fawad Chaudhary said, "I have gone through an astonishing story by Ansar Abbasi in which a judge of Gilgit Baltistan narrates that Saqib Nisar in a telephonic conversation had instructed a high court judge not to grant bail to Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz before the 2018 elections when I was having tea with him.
“How strange jokes are being heard that a judge is issuing direction whether to grant bail to an accused or not when you go to him to take tea. The accused is not a common man, but a former prime minister," he added.

“Instead of conconting foolish and conspiracy theories, please tell us from where Nawaz Sharif got the money to purchase Avenfield apartments later given to Maryam Nawaz. Maryam had stated that she neither had property in London nor in Pakistan. Now the property worth billions of rupees has emerged. The PML-N should answer to this question,” he concluded.
