Some people want to create confusions about elections: Murtaza Solangi

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Caretaker Federal Minister for Information Murtaza Solangi has said that some people want to create confusions about the elections because it is their business.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday, he said that the Election Commission of Pakistan had already announced the elections in January. "The government will provide all resources for the conduct of the general elections," he maintained.

He said that they would do whatever the constitution permits them. "We have not come on the agenda of accountability. It is the task of political parties to do accountability," he maintained.

The minister said that the caretaker government's job is to save the country from default and improve the economy. "All registered political parties should be given the level-playing field for politics," he added.
