Some people want to create situation hysteria in the country: Farogh Naseem

KARACHI (92 News) – Senator Farogh Naseem has said that some people want to create situation of hysteria in the country.

Talking to media on Sunday, he said that despite of three years; five years can be penalized for propogating fake news. “Two ordinances have been issued. Fake news should not be there now. Fake news damages society. The people who spread who news they are not faithful to their country,” he added.

He said that running electoral campaign is the constitutional right. “We have made mistakes in the past but we have to correct our direction now. The people who spread fake news they have their personal agenda,” he maintained.

Farogh Naseem said that media is fourth pillar of the state. “Media is free to criticize but there should not be fake news. Spreading fake news is not constitutional of anyone,” he concluded.
