Some people want to survive in politics on basis of NAB: Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal

LAHORE (92 News) – NAB Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has said that some people want to survive in politics on the basis of the NAB and their morning and evening start with the NAB.

Addressing a ceremony on Thursday, he said that there was no sacred cow for the NAB. "It is not appropriate to criticize the NAB. We will take action against any government functionary if proofs are given against him," he added.

He said that the NAB had returned every penny that they received. "The NAB gave billions of rupees to the Sindh government that were received through the plea bargain," he maintained.

Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal said that the NAB was a people-friendly institution. "The NAB has resolved the problems of the masses. The law has given power to the NAB," he added.
