Speaker’s ruling cannot be challenged: Shah Mahmood Qureshi

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Article 69 is clear anf the speaker’s ruling cannot be challeneged.

Talking to media on Thursday, he said that matters of the Parliament should stay within the Parliament. “We have not taken any step against constitution. If opposition had any doubt on letter then it should have come in parliamentary security committee. We had satisfied them there. If you find letter concative then we can have investigations,” he added.

He said that it seems like today is the last phase of this case. “Ruling of speaker is final. Opposition is saying that deputy speaker has violated the law. Our stance is that deputy speaker has not done violation. Today, our lawyers will present arguments,” he maintained.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that they took oath on constitution. “Protection of constitution is our responsibility. The court is independent it can make judicial commission,” he concluded.
