Special court again decides to conduct cipher case trial in Adiala jail

RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Official Secret Act Special Court Judge Abu Al-Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain on Tuesday again decided to conduct the trial of the PTI chairman and vice-chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi in the cipher case in Adiala jail.

The judge announced the verdict on the report of the Adiala Jail superintendent.

According to the jail authorities, the PTI chairman faces threat to his life and hence they could not produce the PTI chairman in court for security reasons.

Sikandar Zulqarnain, the counsel for the accused, rejected the stance of the government and said that the government was shifting everything onto the court. "Which incident caused the security threat?"

The court will hear the case in jail on Friday. However, the media will not be allowed to attend the hearing. The people wishing to hear the trail will not be stopped

The court summoned the jail superintendent for not arranging a telephonic conversation between the PTI chairman and his sons.
