Special JIT formed to probe into torture of maid by civil judge's wife
LAHORE (92 News) - Police have formed a five-member special joint investigation team (JIT) to probe into the torture of maid by the wife of a civil judge in Islamabad.
The DIG Operations will be the convener of the JIT, while officers from the ISI and the IB will be its members.
Meanwhile, the accused did not join the investigations despite getting the protective bail.
On the other hand, Rizwana, the maid, is under treatment at Lahore General Hospital. According to doctors, her condition is improving and infection in the blood has reduced. They said that the platelets numbers have increased to 105,000 .
The medical board chief said that Rizwana's surgery will be performed after improvement in his health.
