KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh government has banned unnecessary movement of citizens after 8pm from Tuesday due to a spike in the coronavirus cases.

The decision was made during a meeting of the Coronavirus Taskforce on Monday.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has directed the IGP to stop unnecessary travelling across the province.

The Karachi police have prepared a strategy to implement the SOPs. Police barricades will be erected on important roads throughout the city.

All business centres will close from 6pm on Monday. Lights will be switched off in parks after the Maghrab prayers.

However, all educational institutions will remain closed for two weeks.
